NEW PROGRAMS

The Circle of Love

The Circle of Love is a support network designed to serve Amma's children and their families in need. With love, compassion, and a smile, volunteers reach out to comfort brothers and sisters who are elderly, ill, or in need of physical or emotional support. Any Amma devotee is welcome to call the Circle of Love and request assistance (cooking, shopping, cleaning, lending an ear) for the duration of the urgent situation. In addition, devotees may call the ashram to request prayers for family and loved ones.

Children's Satsang

The Amma Center initiated the Children's Satsang after consulting with Amma in Spring 2002. Now, with Amma's Blessing, children meet in the ashram puja room under the guidance of volunteer teachers who lead the young ones (ages 5-12) through the 108 names of Amma (9 names in Sanskrit and English at each session), bhajans, craft projects, stories, yoga, games, meditation, play practice, and arati. Older children are invited to assist.
