The gardens at the Amma Center are one way for the community to become involved in the ashram. We try to keep the gardens beautiful so that people can come here, take a break from their hectic lives, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Amma comes to visit in the summer and the gardens are an expression of the joy she brings.
The tasks in the garden are varied and include planting & transplanting,
weeding, shoveling compost, pruning and landscaping. We can give
you instructions if you want to work in a specific project. You
can then come here and work at your own pace.
